Kilashandra

My journeys
have been long and difficult.
I arrived in this
tropic land quite serendipitously.
It was my intention to wander but
I became so tired and felt so weary at heart.
As I broke through the lush vegitation I
stumbled on a paradise overlooking a great gulf.
There has been plenty of space in which to build my
humble home. I don't need much. At night I fall
into peaceful slumber listening to the gentle waves
lapping the crystal sands of the shoreline. Sometimes,
when all is quiet,
I can hear the crystal sands
singing to me. It is comforting to hear for I know
he is near...that I need only sing to him and he
appears to me...to protect me...he is my soul's song
personified.

It shouldn't take me long
to be moved in.

I love to sing
and I hope my singing won't disturb you.
I have a strange effect
on people
with my singing. They say that
my songs are quite beautiful,
in a haunting way.
I have been told that one never
quite remembers the tune
but
neither does one forget.
I sing of faraway places and
adventures, both visited and envisioned.
I sing to lighten my heart.
I hope in the hearing
that your heart is lightened too.

My interests are varied and sundry.
I have learned to be resourceful
and my trappings may seem strange
for one such as I.
I have learned to travel light,
but my treasures may seem many.
I have left a part of myself in each place
I have ventured
as well as kept a part of that place
with me.
I have met many people and seen many wonderous things.
When I have my home in order,
I will sing for you tales
of the magical, mystical places
I have been
and about people I have encountered.
For now,
Peace to you and yours

Blessed Be.
